Free Cost Calculators and Tools

Every guide on GetCostPrice gives you national price ranges. These calculators go one step further and work out your number. Enter your size, your state and your choices, and each tool returns a low, typical and high estimate with every line item broken out. They are free, need no signup, and run entirely in your browser.

How our calculators work

Each tool uses the same 2026 price research behind our cost guides: retailer and manufacturer prices, contractor and installer rate data, and official fee schedules where they exist. Prices are adjusted for the details that move a real quote, like roof pitch, slab thickness or your state’s transfer tax. Every default can be changed, so if you already have a local price, enter it and the totals update instantly.

Treat the results as a planning budget, not a quote. Local labor rates, permits and site conditions vary, so always compare at least three written quotes before you hire. More calculators are on the way.

All calculator results are estimates as of October 2026. See our disclaimer.
